Swegon presents PARASOL PlusFlow

Swegon, market-leading producer and supplier of energy efficient ventilation and climate systems and the largest wholly-owned company in Investment AB Latour, presents the new comfort module PARASOL PlusFlow. Parasol PF is an extension of the PARASOL series and provides increased flow capacity.

"We're known as world leader in waterborne climate systems. Our best-selling 4-way comfort module PARASOL has revolutionized the market since it was introduced in 2005. We are now happy to launch the PARASOL PlusFlow, a new product in the PARASOL-series" says Anders Eriksson, Product Manager at Swegon.

Anders explains further - "When there is a need of both high cooling capacity and high air flows, the PARASOL PF is the right choice. By installing the PARASOL PF in conference rooms the number of installed products can be reduced by up to 50%."

The module can handle higher air flows and has a higher cooling and heating capacity compared to a regular PARASOL, of course while maintaining comfort in the room. With built-in nozzle regulation and the many different settings, the PARASOL’s features can be adapted if the room layout or the activities in the building changes. This means that the comfort module is an attractive solution for offices, classrooms, retail buildings etc.

Operation is the same as for a standard PARASOL. The difference is that the air is distributed to the room via two separate nozzle lines. One of these nozzle lines is always open. The second nozzle line  is adjustable as in all PARASOLs. This means that when all adjustable nozzles are closed, a basic flow is still maintained trough the product.

With its high capacity Parasol utilizes 40-50% less ceiling surface to meet the ventilation- and cooling load in a normal office, compared with a traditional climate beam.

Dimensioning is made in the same manner as for the standard PARASOL, by the dimensioning program ProSelect.
