Ratingen, Deutschland, February 23, 2026 — ASUS today announced the ProArt PF120 case fan, which offers high-end static pressure and airflow, competitive acoustic performance at any RPM, a highly compatible 28mm-thick frame, and an understated visual design that aligns with non-ARGB minimalist builds.
Ready to contend with the best
When compared to the current market-leading 3000rpm case fan, the ProArt PF120 wins in every metric. At maximum 3000rpm fan speed, it boasts 7.3mmH₂O static pressure and 104.8cfm airflow—both specs higher than the leading competitor, while producing less noise. Since the ProArt PF120 offers such high static pressure, it is a great choice for upgrading the fans on your AiO liquid cooler. It maintains the lead at 2000rpm and 1200rpm as well, helping to ensure that users get great cooling performance that smoothly ramps up with the most demanding workloads. That is, when normalized for decibels of noise, the ProArt PF120 delivers higher air pressure and more efficient heat removal.
Through precise motor control and optimized blade dynamics, ProArt PF120 fans also minimizes tonal shifts and maintain acoustic consistency—even at peak speeds. When analyzing the effective amount of sound pressure produced by this fan over time, the highest sustained sound pressure level, surges of fan noise, and overall range of noise are all lower than the competition. And while providing all of these benefits, the ProArt PF120 is actually thinner than the leading competitor, with a frame that’s 28mm thick. The thin frame enables better case compatibility and easier installation in a variety of contexts, such as installation on a radiator or in a small-form-factor chassis.
Air superiority
The ProArt PF120 achieves chart-topping thermal and acoustic performance figures through a wide variety of innovations. It starts with fan blades constructed of a liquid-crystal polymer (LCP). This material is prized for its exceptional strength, minimal thermal expansion, and natural vibration dampening. Even during high-speed operation, the fan blades provide stable, precise performance.
The unique characteristics of the fan blades enable the design of an ultra-narrow gap between the blades and frame. This precise, continuous 0.5mm gap enhances airflow efficiency while minimizing turbulence and noise.
To help ensure tight tolerances and long-term reliability, the ProArt PF120 fans are equipped with a bearing housing constructed entirely of brass, integrated with a steel motor core and a thermally stable LCP frame. A three-phase and six-pole fan motor delivers smooth yet robust performance by operating at a lower frequency. This design minimizes noise and vibration, resulting in superior sound quality and enhanced efficiency.
Simplified builds with patented daisy-chain connector and more
Standard case fans require users to manage many wires, even if they select options that do not require separate cables for controlling ARGB illumination. ProArt PF120 fans simplify installation and cable management through patented embedded daisy-chain connectors.
In any installation where fans are next to each other, users can link the fans together using the daisy-chain system. The design acts as both a physical latch that holds the fans together securely and as a mechanism for passing along power and control signals. The ProArt PF120 lets users enjoy easy installation, with simplified cable management and fewer visible wires in the completed build.
Users who opt for the three-pack will get a three-stage fan speed controller. Built into the cable, it lets users easily choose 1400rpm, 2200rpm, or 3000rpm settings, for silent running, balanced operation, or max performance.
The ProArt PF120 is available in black or white colorways, with brass elements at the center offering a touch of personality.
