Ratingen, Germany, 12 May 2026 – ASUS is expanding the ProArt series with the ProArt PA40SU, a high-quality USB4 SSD enclosure for professional creatives who require fast, stable and flexible storage solutions for their creative workflow. With transfer speeds of up to 40 Gbps, a slim aluminium design and support for M.2 NVMe SSDs in the 2230 and 2280 formats, the new enclosure is designed for mobile use in demanding production environments.
The ProArt PA40SU combines high data performance with a sophisticated thermal design. A four-stage smart cooling system helps to effectively control operating temperatures, ensuring stable performance during long transfers or intensive work with large files. Thanks to its tool-free design, the SSD is particularly easy to install, whilst the compact form factor makes it easy to transport in everyday mobile studio use.

The ProArt PA40SU SSD enclosure is now available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland at a recommended retail price of EUR / CHF 79.90 incl. VAT from specialist retailers and online shops.
