Ratingen, Germany, 09 July 2026 — ASUS introduces the QG-U1080, an unmanaged network switch that seamlessly upgrades home and office networks to 2.5G speeds. The compact desktop switch offers eight 2.5G ports and two 10G SFP+ ports, supports four smart features and is ready to use straight away thanks to plug-and-play operation – perfect for demanding applications such as 4K streaming or gaming.
The QG-U1080 utilises existing CAT5e cables for ultra-fast connections and harnesses the full potential of WiFi 6/7 access points without performance bottlenecks caused by Gigabit switches. The 10G SFP+ ports ensure high bandwidth in professional setups, whilst the silent operation and energy-efficient design make the switch ideal for desktop use.
The four intelligent modes flexibly optimise the network: Priority prioritises critical traffic during peak times, EEE dynamically adjusts power consumption, Port Isolation protects against unauthorised access, and Static Trunk bundles connections for higher bandwidth and redundancy. This creates a secure, efficient network without complicated configurations.

The ProArt Switch PQG-U1080 is now available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland at a recommended retail price of 160.95 EUR / CHF incl. VAT from specialist retailers and online shops.
