infodas expands Cross-Domain Capabilities to the Tactical Edge (TE)
- SDoT COMP LAND TE enables secure information sharing across tactical edge environments
- The solution connects classified networks, mobile platforms, sensors, and command structures in deployed operations
- Developed for operational scenarios, it supports resilient and interoperable communication across coalition forces
infodas introduces the SDoT COMP-LAND TE, a cross-domain solution for secure data exchange at the tactical edge. As armed forces accelerate the digitalization of land-based operations, the need to connect classified networks, mobile platforms, sensors, and command structures across highly dynamic deployment scenarios continues to grow. This solution brings the proven capabilities of the SDoT (Secure Domain Transition) product family to tactical edge deployments, providing resilient information flow and interoperable communication that directly support operational decision-making.
"We see a fundamental shift in military communication architectures. Data no longer remains within static command structures. Recent operations show how digitalized capabilities increasingly move beyond the operational core towards highly mobile edge deployments that require greater resiliency, security, and interoperability. Armed forces require trusted connectivity that enables accelerated operational decision cycles while protecting classified information. With the SDoT COMP-LAND TE, we transfer these capabilities into tactical edge environments, where mobility, interoperability, and resilience directly impact mission effectiveness", says Thorsten Ecke, Managing Director at infodas.
Developed for deployment in mobile military platforms, the SDoT COMP-LAND TE integrates into vehicle architectures based on the NATO Generic Vehicle Architecture (STANAG 4754) standard. This cross-domain solution interoperates with the established command and control protocols required for Multi-Domain Operations and Combined Joint All Domain Command and Control structures. Its modular design, new form factor with extended environmental specifications, low SWAP (Size, Weight, and Power) footprint, and ruggedized architecture support deployment in space-constrained and demanding operational scenarios. At the same time, the system handles tactical communication protocols optimized for mission-critical real-time data transfer across distributed forces. The solution supports the DEU SECRET, EU SECRET, NATO SECRET approved SDoT software products and enables secure information sharing across classified domains during coalition operations.
As the European leader in military cross-domain solutions, infodas supports armed forces, nations, and alliances in securing digitalized operations across classified domains and distributed environments. Operational requirements increasingly extend beyond fixed command infrastructures toward highly mobile tactical edge deployments. Armed Forces require resilient architectures that maintain secure and reliable connectivity under demanding field conditions. With the SDoT COMP-LAND TE, infodas expands its proven SDoT product family with a solution tailored for tactical edge operations. The system builds on technologies already in operational use and addresses the evolving need for mobile and mission-ready cross-domain connectivity.
Modern military operations depend on the fast and secure exchange of mission-critical data among highly mobile and distributed forces. At the tactical edge, battle tanks, deployable command posts, unmanned systems, and mobile communication platforms continuously generate and process operational information under demanding conditions. Meanwhile, Multi-Domain Operations accelerate decision cycles and increase the need for secure data flows between command structures, operational forces, and coalition partners. Current conflicts and evolving threat scenarios drive the modernization of tactical communications and system architecture across armed forces worldwide. Military organizations increasingly require resilient infrastructures that can handle time sensitive intelligence, surveillance, targeting, and tracking data at in real-time.
