infodas expands its business in Finland by partnering with Habilito

infodas and Habilito have formed a strategic partnership to advance cross-domain solutions in Finland for government and security-critical environments. The partnership combines infodas’ field proven cross-domain solutions, which are widely used in high-security and NATO-aligned settings, with Habilito’s local cybersecurity expertise. This collaboration brings trusted capabilities directly to the Finnish market. The collaboration is already taking shape with the launch of the first major implementation for Erillisverkot Group, a Finnish government-owned operator of secure communication networks for public authorities and critical infrastructure.

"In the past months, Habilito and infodas have conducted intense consultations with Finnish government stakeholders and thoroughly elaborated on technical concepts and architectures. This relentless work has culminated in the first operational use case jointly deployed by the two companies in Finland, enabling a national end user to securely and auditable connect different classification domains in a compliant manner", says Dr. Fulvio Arreghini, Director Sales at infodas.

"Collaborating with infodas allows us to provide technologies that meet the highest security requirements without compromising usability or operational effectiveness. Cross-domain capabilities in Finland are still in the early stages. Now is the time to build them in a sustainable and interoperable way for future needs. We welcome discussions about securely enabling cross-domain information exchange in critical customer environments", comments Mikael Puska, CEO at Habilito.

infodas and Habilito are pleased to announce the first large-scale cross-domain solution implementation in Finland, marking an important step in the country’s evolving security landscape. Developed for Erillisverkot Group, a government owned provider of mission critical communications, the system enables simulated, secure, controlled, and fully auditable data transfer across different security domains implemented in the test environment. It addresses the growing demands for trusted information exchange. In government environments, a cross-domain solution is much more than a technical capability. They are foundational elements of a broader security architecture that support the balance between information sharing and strict control. These setups help organizations operate effectively in increasingly complex threat scenarios.

Nordic countries face a more complex landscape with mounting pressure on digital infrastructure and security systems along NATO’s eastern border. Given its geographic position and highly digitalized society, Finland plays a central role in strengthening Europe's resilience and sovereignty against cyber threats. Since joining NATO in 2023, Finland has taken on a greater role in protecting critical infrastructure and supporting collective defense in the cyber domain. In this context, Finland’s strategic importance to NATO and the EU has repeatedly been emphasized at the highest political levels.
