We cordially invite you to the Lufthansa Cargo Sustainability Conference on Thursday, July 14, 2022, 1:00 till 2:45 p.m. (CET) to find out. The Lufthansa Cargo Sustainability Conference will be streamed live and can be attended digitally.
During the Sustainability Conference, Dorothea von Boxberg, Chairperson of the Executive Board and CEO of Lufthansa Cargo AG, will present how Lufthansa Cargo intends to achieve the goal of complete CO2 neutrality by 2050 and how airfreight can already be transported in a CO2-neutral manner today.

Lufthansa Cargo AG
Mit einem Umsatz von 3,8 Milliarden Euro und einer Transportleistung von 7,2 Milliarden Frachttonnenkilometern im Jahr 2021 ist Lufthansa Cargo eines der weltweit führenden Unternehmen im Transport von Luftfracht. Das Unternehmen beschäftigt derzeit rund 4.200 Mitarbeiter weltweit. Der Schwerpunkt von Lufthansa Cargo liegt im Airport-to-Airport-Geschäft. Das Streckennetz umfasst rund 300 Zielorte in über 100 Ländern, wobei sowohl Frachtflugzeuge als auch Frachtkapazitäten von Passagiermaschinen von Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Eurowings Discover und SunExpress sowie LKW genutzt werden. Der Großteil des Cargo-Geschäftes wird über den Flughafen Frankfurt umgeschlagen. Lufthansa Cargo verfolgt das Ziel, die umweltfreundlichste Frachtairline weltweit zu werden. Dafür setzt das Unternehmen auf modernste Technologien und kontinuierliche Investitionen im Bereich Nachhaltigkeit. Im Jahr 2021 wurden wichtige Meilensteine erreicht, wie die Flottenmodernisierung auf eine reine B777F-Flotte sowie die Einführung vollständig CO2-neutraler Frachttransporte für alle Kund:innen. 2022 plant Lufthansa Cargo die sukzessive Ausrüstung ihrer Flotte mit der Sharkskin-Technologie sowie den Ausbau des Sustainable Aviation Fuel Programms, um die CO2-Emissionen weiter zu senken. Lufthansa Cargo ist ein hundertprozentiges Tochterunternehmen der Deutschen Lufthansa AG und der Spezialist für das Logistikgeschäft der Lufthansa Group.
