Pressemitteilung -

Successful Fourth Bikefitting Wissensforum at Paul Lange & Co.

With a new attendance record, the fourth Bikefitting Wissensforum took place on November 20–21, 2025, at the headquarters of Paul Lange & Co. in Stuttgart. More than 100 participants from Germany, Austria and Switzerland followed the invitation — more than ever before. Over two intensive days, specialist retailers took the opportunity to deepen their expertise, gain hands-on inspiration and exchange insights on the latest developments, methods and technologies in bike fitting.

Under the guiding theme “Fit Local, Ride Global.”, a high-caliber team of speakers delivered a diverse program combining theory, practical application and in-depth discussion. The experts covered anatomical and biomechanical fundamentals, provided practical insights into measurement processes and demonstrated the tangible benefits of professional bike fitting for everyday workshop operations and retail sales.

The first day began with in-depth sessions on performance diagnostics and lactate testing by Stefan Nüsser (SNDC). Subsequently, Sebastian Klauss (Komsport) gave an impressive demonstration of how pressure measurement plates can be used to optimize the fitting of shoes, insoles and pedals.
Alexander West (Synergy ProTraining) addressed the widely debated topic of crank length, highlighting its advantages and disadvantages from both a scientific and practical perspective.
This was followed by Gregor Hildebrand (PRO – Paul Lange), who presented the perfect synergy of handlebars, saddles and stems from the PRO product portfolio.

After the break, nutrition and performance diagnostics expert Robert Gorgos enriched the forum with comprehensive insights into sports nutrition. An emotional highlight followed with appearances by former and current professional cyclists Tony Martin and Jonas Rutsch, who shared stories from the world of pro racing together with legendary cycling commentator Karsten Migels.

On the second day, former professional triathlete Andreas Niedrig reflected on his experiences and emphasized the importance of mental and physical balance in elite sport. Prof. Dr. Heiko Striegel (Sports Medicine & Cardiology, VfB Stuttgart) then addressed the crucial topic of cardiology in sport and offered valuable guidance for daily work in the retail sector.

Marco Müller-Sciacca, Brand Manager at Paul Lange & Co. and certified bikefitting instructor, together with his team — Robert Lechner, bikefitting instructor and Olympic bronze medalist, and Daniel Zeitler — introduced essential bike fitting tools and software solutions for static measurement. Their presentation was highly practical, clearly structured and directly applicable to everyday use.

In addition, Niels Boon (bikefitting.com) presented the brand-new bikefitting.com Fit Bike as well as modern hardware and software solutions. The integrated systems impressively demonstrated how comprehensive yet user-friendly a professional bike fitting setup can be for specialist retailers.

The consistently positive feedback from participants underlined one clear conclusion: the Bikefitting Knowledge Forum has firmly established itself as an indispensable component of the extensive training program offered by Paul Lange & Co. It is therefore no surprise that the event will return in 2026.

Save the date: November 19–20, 2026
