SECURSUN has started the construction of the first solar parks in Germany from its portfolio of around 1.1 gigawatts. In total, more than 50 utility solar PV parks will be completed between the end of 2023 and 2026. Last year, SUNOTEC delivered photovoltaic projects with an output of around 2.3 gigawatts peak (GWp). By way of comparison, the whole of France built PV plants supplying 2.7 GWp in the same time. 2022 turned out to be the most successful year in the company’s history, as the market leader in the construction of ground-mounted photovoltaic plants connected more than 70 new solar parks to the grid.
Bulgaria’s largest solar power plant is due to be completed by spring 2023. It will increase solar power generation in the country by 12 percent. Being built in hilly terrain south of Sofia, the new power plant will generate green electricity with a capacity of 124 megawatts peak. The Verila project is being delivered by SUNOTEC, the European market leader in the construction of solar parks.
