A new experimental group exhibition at Copenhagen Contemporary (CC) presents the building materials of tomorrow in the intersection of art and architecture. A critical comment on the way we build today, Reset Materials - Towards Sustainable Architecture explores the future of architecture in 10 compelling works created in collaboration between architects, artists and manufacturers.
For the first time in the Nordic region, Copenhagen Contemporary (CC) and the Glyptotek present a solo exhibition by the international artist Abbas Akhavan. The artist recreates Palmyra’s treasured columns and Iraq’s looted National Museum in an exhibition spanning the two art institutions.
For første gang i Norden præsenterer Copenhagen Contemporary (CC) og Glyptoteket en soloudstilling med en af samtidskunstens markante stemmer; Abbas Akhavan. Kunstneren genrejser Palmyras skattede søjler og Iraks plyndrede nationalmuseum vist i én samlet udstilling på tværs af de to kunstinstitutioner.
Med en støtte på 2,7 mio. kr. på det kulturelle aktstykke har regeringspartierne netop vedtaget mere end en tredobling af støtten til kunstcentret Copenhagen Contemporary (CC) set i forhold til tidligere år.

Det er med stor glæde, at vi i dag kan offentliggøre et nyt treårigt samarbejde mellem CERN og Copenhagen Contemporary gennem Collide, Arts at CERN’s flagskibsprogram for internationale kunstner-residencies.
Copenhagen Contemporary har pr. 1.2.2023 ansat Aukje Lepoutre Ravn i en nyoprettet stilling som seniorkurator. Hun skal blandt andet være med til at løfte de ambitiøse, internationale udstillingsprojekter, som CC har på programmet i de kommende år.
In a unique collaboration, two of the largest cultural institutions in Denmark are inviting their audiences to join them on a journey across time and space. Over the next three years, a series of exhibitions will help form new perspectives on the cultural heritage of the Middle East and its significance today.
