Beatbox Entertainment changes its name to Down The Drain Concerts

As part of the growth strategy for the Nordic’ largest independent concert organizer, Down The Drain Group, Mads Sørensen is added to the management group and its subsidiary, Beatbox Entertainment, will changes its name to Down The Drain Concerts.

Since April last year, Down The Drain Group has established itself as the largest independent concert organizer in the Nordic region, and over the last year a number of improvements have been made to the organization. The latest development is a consolidation of the management and a name change for Beatbox Entertainment, which ensures that the company's concert department becomes a fully integrated part of Down The Drain Group.

Down The Drain Concerts was founded in 2005 under the name Beatbox Concerts and has since been behind thousands of concerts with international stars such as Arcade Fire, Bon Iver, Coldplay, Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys, and Ed Sheeran. Mads Sørensen, CEO of Down The Drain Concerts, joined the management of Down The Drain Group in 2018 drawing the Copenhagen part of Down The Drain Group closer to the headquarter in Aarhus.

- The year-round process of booking artists for festivals and other concerts hangs inseparably together. With a strong team of people with broad experience from the festival industry and the touring industry, we can ensure optimal utilization of the synergies of a merger. The future will bring exciting new international acts as well as a large number of the world's largest stars to Denmark, and among the already announced acts for 2019 are Shawn Mendes, Tenacious D, and two sold out concerts with Ed Sheeran in Odense in July 2019.

Down the Drain Group is the Nordic region's largest independent concert organizer and is among other things behind the festivals Tinderbox, Haven Festival and NorthSide, which just won the Best Medium-Sized Festival award at the European Festival Awards. Down The Drain Group is also owner of Down The Drain Concerts, which puts on 200+ concerts annually, as well as delivering international acts to the company’s festivals.
