Brussels 13/07/2023 (MAP) - The European Union (EU) has reaffirmed the "utmost importance" it attaches to its fisheries partnership with the Kingdom of Morocco and the "essential interest" it has in its continuation, in a "spirit of trust, solidarity and mutual interest".
Germany reiterated, on Thursday, its support for the Moroccan autonomy plan for the Sahara, presented in 2007, as a "serious and credible" effort by the Kingdom and a "very good basis for a solution accepted by the parties".
Italy commended Morocco's "serious and credible efforts" to find a solution to the Sahara issue, in the Action Plan for the implementation of the Multidimensional Strategic Partnership between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Italian Republic, signed on Wednesday in Rome.
Rabat - The Kingdom of Morocco has been elected, in the person of Abderrahman Tlemçani, to the post of member of the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD), for the period 2024-2027, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates.
