Launch of Energy Democracy TV Crowdfunding Campaign on Indiegogo

Energy Democracy TV- the worlds first magazine app on decentralized, community owned energy transition has launched it's crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo today. Initiated by a Germany based renewable energy expert- Kirsten Hasberg from Denmark, Energy Democracy TV gives us the opportunity to democratize the energy system.

Energy Democracy TV helps pave the way to a society based on 100 % renewable energy by covering stories that are often neglected or misinterpreted by traditional media: Behind the energy transition are engaged and committed people, conflicts, dramas and heroes of everyday life. They are making the energy revolution happen by pushing for right policies, building a community wind farm or installing solar panels on their roof.

Because of its digital nature, Energy Democracy TV is much more than a magazine: Inside Energy Democracy TV you'll find cross-media content: videos as well as written content, pictures as well as cartoons and infographs - and maybe your content? Our goal is to create a community of Energy Democratizers, worldwide.

"Just like the digital revolution is making us able to not only content consumers but also content creators, energy democracy means that we are no longer only energy consumers or energy producers, but we integrate both and become prosumers", explains Kirsten Hasberg in an interview with Renewables International Magazine.
