Huawei to Unveil HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Series, an Advanced Outdoor Sports Smartwatch, and Multiple New Products at Global Innovative Launch on September 19th
Huawei does not slow down in search for innovation. Today the technological giant announced that it will host a Global Innovative Product Launch event themed “Ride The Wind” on September 19th in Paris, France. As a technology pioneer in the consumer electronics industry, Huawei will unveil its next-generation wearable series, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Series, delivering an enhanced outdoor sports and health monitoring experience for global consumers. At the same time, highly anticipated smartphone and tablet products will also make their grand debut, showcasing Huawei’s capabilities in the smart device sector.
As one of Huawei's pivotal global consumer business, wearables have dominated the market with more than 200 million shipments since 2015 and 42.4% YoY growth in Q1 2025[1].
The next generation of sports science
Renowned for its legendary 14-day battery life and comprehensive sports features, the HUAWEI WATCH GT Series now pushes the boundaries even further. The latest model boasts upgrades to endurance and professional-grade outdoor sports capabilities.
Also, in addition to providing basic fitness data like heart rate, tempo, and training effects, its Sunflower Positioning System will deliver precise GPS tracking, distance, and pace data, enhancing outdoor sports experience.
Backed by over ten global R&D centers and three sports health science labs, Huawei continues to push the boundaries of sports health technology. Currently, Huawei holds nearly 1,000 patents in the smart wearable field. Its core technology brand, the TruSense™ System, provides faster, more accurate, and comprehensive sports and health monitoring capabilities, offering robust technical capability for users' health management across diverse scenarios. Huawei wearables deeply integrate innovative technology and fashion aesthetics, supporting more than 100 sports modes, including various outdoor activities and indoor exercises.
The next generation of productivity
Huawei tablets have captivated users as well, thanks to the pioneering PaperMatte Display technology, seamless productivity-boosting tools, and outstanding performance. The Huawei PaperMatte Display series of tablets have made viewing and reading experience more comfortable, the M-Pencil has made digital handwriting and drawing easier than ever, and apps like GoPaint[2] and HUAWEI Notes have made digital creation newly accessible and efficient. At next month's event Huawei tablets will introduce upgrades to both the PaperMatte and stylus, alongside the launch of the HUAWEI GoPaint Worldwide Creating Activity, to spur a new generation of creators to even greater heights.
