Atea Finland and Ingram Micro into large-scale logistic cooperation

Atea Finland Oy and Ingram Micro Oy have agreed on extensive logistic cooperation in Finland. Major part of Atea's logistics services will be transferred to Ingram Micro. This also means that most of Atea’s employees from their logistic center will be joining Ingram Micro as a part of the deal.

The Atea Group is the leading provider of IT infrastructure suppliers in the Nordic and Baltic countries and the second largest in Europe. In Finland, Atea's net sales growth has been 20% in 2017.

"It is important for our operating model to support our growth rate and to meet the growing demands of our customers and businesses. Atea's intense growth requires continuous supply chain development and improving. Supply Chain's efficiency is one of our main goals, says Atea's CEO Juha Sihvonen.

Ingram Micro is the world's largest distributor of IT products, with operations in 160 countries. Logistics services and various configuration services are part of Ingram Micro's service portfolio. In the past, the company has been focusing on wholesale of mobile devices in Finland but has significantly expanded its product and service offering this year.
