CLICK Festival among the nominees for the Art Beat Award 2016

The Danish award - The Art Beat Award - celebrates projects and artists within the field of cultural innovation. CLICK Festival is nominated along with prominent Danish cultural players as the director Anders Morgenthaler, Denmark’s museum dedicated to art in public spaces, KØS, and the Danish Open-Air museum Den Gamle By. The winner is revealed 17 March in Copenhagen.

CLICK is developed and produced at the Culture Yard in Elsinore, which forms the physical framework for the festival. The content is developed through a broad collaboration between Danish and international talents consisting of artists, researchers, students, and professionals in interplay with larger and smaller organizations, educational programs, and businesses. These are selected and curated by the festival’s program secretariat in dialogue with their respective networks.

The Art Beat Award was founded by HAVE Communications and the Spar Nord Foundation in 2013 and is given to culture innovators within the Danish art and culture scene.
