Den Frie Udstilling is an artists' association that was founded in 1891 by Danish visual artists in protest against the entry requirements to the established Charlottenborg. Here, Carsten Hoff and Susanne Ussing are in the process of hanging their foam sculptures at the autumn exhibition in 1968.
