In a few weeks, Kunsthal Charlottenborg will present a solo exhibition featuring French-Algerian artist Mohamed Bourouissa. Working in the field where documentary and fiction intersect, Bourouissa uses photography, rap music and other modes of expression to call attention to the peripheries of society and challenge the mainstream media’s portrayals of young people from ethnic minority backgrounds.
Om få uger slår Kunsthal Charlottenborg dørene op til en soloudstilling med den fransk-algeriske kunstner Mohamed Bourouissa. Han arbejder i spændingsfeltet mellem dokumentar og fiktion, og bruger bl.a. fotografi og rapmusik til at sætte fokus på samfundets periferi og konfrontere mediernes fremstillinger af unge med anden etnisk baggrund.
