ASUS Announces New ZenBooks, VivoBook Notebooks and Project Precog Future PC Concept at Computex 2018
ASUS Chairman Jonney Shih today hosted a press event at Computex 2018, unveiling all-new products, including ZenBook Pro 15 and ZenBook Pro 14 with the revolutionary ScreenPad input device, the triple-award-winning ZenBook S and a full lineup of VivoBook notebooks. As part of the new ZenBook and VivoBook introduction, ASUS announced a partnership with Hollywood sensation and leading actress, Gal Gadot, as brand ambassador for ASUS PC product lines. The press event also included a special sneak peek at Project Precog, a brand-new concept device and the world's first convertible dual-screen notebook equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) features. The dual-screen form factor is designed to provide versatility and powerful productivity, and a full set of intelligent capabilities, including Intelligent Touch and Intelligent Charging, delivering a completely evolved user experience.

ZenBook Pro 15 (UX580) and ZenBook Pro 14 (UX480)
The ZenBook Pro Series is a family of high-performance Windows 10 notebooks for professionals that introduces the futuristic new ScreenPad™ — an ASUS innovation that revolutionizes the way users work and interact with their notebook. ScreenPad cleverly combines a touchpad with a high-resolution, full-color touchscreen to offer novel ways of interacting intelligently with both Windows apps and dedicated programs called ScreenPad Apps. ScreenPad features adaptive functions with context-sensitive tools to enhance workflow and productivityand is fully customizable to allow users to personalize their experience. Currently supported apps include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and YouTube, with support for other popular apps under development, such as ASUS Sync, which lets users control their phone via ScreenPad. ScreenPad also offers an exciting opportunity for developers to create new ScreenPad Apps or ways of integrating with desktop apps, delivering endless possibilities to users.

Enjoy immersive multimedia on its 15.6-inch 4K UHD NanoEdge PANTONE® validated display with 100% Adobe RGB color gamut, ∆E (Delta-E) < 2.0 color accuracy and powerful Harmon Kardon certified audio system. ZenBook Pro 14 is also packed with state-of-the-art components for unrivaled performance with up to the latest 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 MAX-Q graphics, ZenBook Pro 14 will also include support for Intel® Optane™ memory, a 14-inch FHD NanoEdge display, an infrared camera for facial recognition and built-in support for Amazon Alexa voice-powered services. ZenBook S (UX391)
ZenBook S (UX391) is a premium 13.3-inch ultraportable Windows 10 notebook that not only delivers effortless portability, powerful performance and no-compromise connectivity for discerning on-the-go users, but also is tested to meet military-grade MIL-STD-810G durability standards. With an ultrathin 12.9mm profile and ultralight 1kg all-metal unibody, the sophisticated ZenBook S is finished in prestigious Deep Dive Blue or elegant Burgundy Red with Rose Gold diamond-cut edges, complete with the iconic Zen-inspired spun-metal finish for a luxurious look and feel.
ZenBook S incorporates the innovative new ErgoLift hinge that automatically tilts the keyboard by 5.5° for the ultimate typing comfort. The raised chassis also improves airflow and enhances audio performance. Project Precog
Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning are changing the face of computing, providing new frameworks for evolved user experiences. ASUS is embracing this revolution — and demonstrating just how far-reaching its effects will be — with Project Precog, a concept of the first convertible, dual-screen notebook with fully enhanced AI features.
Project Precog implements a novel dual-screen form factor for versatility, expandability and increased productivity. With a 360° hinge joining the two displays, the PC can be used in four modes — Stand, Book, Tent, and Flat — while providing twice the screen space of traditional notebooks. This innovative form factor gets rid of the traditional physical keyboard and touchpad setup, replacing it with the flexibility to work as either an extended screen or as a customizable interactive interface.
Project Precog is designed to provide a smooth and intuitive experience for industry-leading AI technologies. Intelligent Touch automatically recognizes the active input device and changes the virtual interface accordingly. It can automatically adjust the keyboard location depending on where the user places their fingertips, or automatically switch to stylus mode when a stylus touches the lower screen.
With support for the Windows Cortana and Amazon Alexa voice services, users can get more done with the power of their voice. The dual-screen design of Project Precog lets users keep their main tasks in full view while virtual assistants process other tasks on the second screen. The enlarged screen real estate is also perfect for apps processing large amounts of data and information, such as the AI-powered Microsoft Office 365®. Project Precog and ZenBook Pro 14 will support the Intel® Movidius™ Vision Processing Unit (VPU), and ASUS will encourage developers worldwide to create engaging AI-powered experiences.
VivoBook S15 (S530) and VivoBook S14 (S430)
VivoBook S15 (S530) and S14 (S430) are stylish and lightweight Windows 10 notebooks available in five vibrant color options — Firmament Green, Star Grey, Silver Blue, Gun Metal and Icicle Gold — and several textured finishes including a unique woven texture for distinct style. VivoBook S15 and VivoBook S14 weigh only 1.8kg and 1.4kg respectively, and both notebooks are impressively thin at just 18mm. An ErgoLift hinge raises the keyboard to provide a comfortable typing experience similar to a desktop keyboard and also improves cooling for better system stability.
VivoBook S15 and S14 are the first notebooks in the VivoBook Series to feature the new three-sided NanoEdge design that has even narrower bezels along the top and sides of the display. This gives VivoBook S15 an 86% screen-to-body ratio, and VivoBook S14 an 84% screen-to-body ratio for an unrivaled immersive viewing experiences in a much more compact package. VivoBook S15 and VivoBook S14 are powered by up to an 8th Generation Intel® Core™ i7 processor with NVIDIA® GeForce® MX150 discrete graphics. Both notebooks feature dual-storage designs, with VivoBook S15 featuring up to a 512GB SSD and 2TB HDD.

VivoBook S13 (S330) is the first ASUS notebook to feature a four-sided NanoEdge display with a remarkable 89% screen-to-body ratio. The incredibly slim 4.3mm bezel allows VivoBook S13 to fit a 13-inch display into a chassis size of a traditional 11-inch notebook. Even with its compact size, VivoBook S13 delivers uncompromised performance.
