Club de Vela del Càmping La Ballena Alegre vil gerne dele en spændende initiativ med jer – et projekt vi arbejder på med stor begejstring, og som vi tror, vil have jeres interesse.

Den 16. april kl. 10:00 (CET) deltager vi i World Sailing Sustainability Sessions 2025, hvor vi vil præsentere udviklingen af vores projekt "Bevidst navigation". Projektet opstod i forbindelse med Optimist-VM 2023 og har siden vokset sig til et vigtigt redskab for miljøbevidsthed og klimaindsats i sejlsportens verden.

I løbet af de seneste to år har vi fortsat arbejdet med bæredygtige initiativer og har været værter for store internationale begivenheder som VM i F18 og Windsurfer. I år arbejder vi aktivt på at arrangere Ungdoms-VM i Wing Foil. Inden for Optimist-klassen styrker vi det pædagogiske element yderligere – blandt andet under Spring Cup Regatta, hvor hovedparten af deltagerne er U12-sejlere, samt med nye, fremtidsorienterede projekter med international rækkevidde.

Vores engagement i bæredygtighed og FN’s 2030-dagsorden er blevet anerkendt globalt. Vi var finalister i World Sailing 11th Hour Racing Sustainability Award 2023, har modtaget CETT Alimara Through Sustainability and Students 2024, og vi har præsenteret projektet ved internationale nøgleevents som The Blue Innovation Dock på Boot Düsseldorf 2023 & 2024 og Fitur Sports 2024 – vigtige milepæle i projektets udbredelse.

Hvis cykling er din passion, bør du vide, at det catalanske område har meget at tilbyde dig. Vidunderlige veje ved havet eller indlandet, charmerende landeveje, ruter gennem skove og bjerge, ruter af enhver art og for alle niveauer... Kom og kør med os!

Søndag den 2. fra 11:30 til 11:50 præsentation af Cykling i Catalonien med forslagene fra Cykelwebben (Daniel Rytz) på Costa Brava.

Tag din cykel med, når du rejser til Catalonien, eller lej en, når du ankommer, for du vil ikke gå glip af at opdage en del af vores territorium med pedalkraft. Enhver del af Catalonien tilbyder ruter til mountainbiking, gravel eller cykling. Det milde klima, vi har hele året rundt, betyder, at enhver sæson er god til at nyde cykelruterne i hele Catalonien. Du skal bare vælge den mulighed, der passer bedst til dine smag og niveau... og kør løs!

Vejcykling

Vejcykling giver dig endeløse kilometer at dække. Et omfattende og varieret netværk af sekundære veje løber gennem Catalonien fra Costa Brava til Terres de l'Ebre og fra Pyrenæernes toppe og Val d'Aran til Barcelona kysten og indlandsregionerne. De er ideelle til at nyde denne sport året rundt og teste dine evner. Nogle af dem vil endda give dig mulighed for at efterligne de professionelle på to hjul, da de har været en del af etaper i Tour de France, Vuelta a España og Kataloniens Cykel Tour.

Mountainbiking

Elsker du de ufremkommelige ruter, har Catalonien mange muligheder at vælge imellem. Naturlige områder, landlige omgivelser, skove, bjerge, sletter og landbrugsjord er rammen for de mange MTB-ruter, der er struktureret omkring MTB-centrene i Catalonien. Med stejle opstigninger og nedkørsler eller med en mere overkommelig profil, med mere komplekst eller enklere terræn, vil stierne give dig dage med ubeskrivelig fornøjelse klamrende til styret.

Cykelturisme

Hvis du kan lide at cykle roligt og i langsomt tempo, er mulighederne for cykelturisme i Catalonien også meget brede. Den varierede catalanske geografi præsenterer mange ideelle steder for ruter med lave gradienter, korte kilometer og begrænsede vanskeligheder. For at gøre det endnu lettere er der et omfattende netværk af grønne veje og cykelstier.

Nogle eksempler på grønne veje og cykelstier, du vil finde i området, er:

The Catalan Government is organizing a trip for international journalists to experience the Catalan tradition of Castells, human towers that reach tens of meters high with only strength, focus and coordination. Last month, American artist Travis Scott featured them in his videoclip "Sirens".

Hence, we would like to extend you an invitation.

The dates would be from October 30th to November 2nd, and would include the following:

- Attendance to the All-saints-day Castells competition in Vilafranca del Penedès (November 1st, 12 h PM).

- Visit to the Museum of Forbidden Art (to be inaugurated in Barcelona in late September).

- Attendance to a human tower (Castell) rehearsal.

- Visit to the recently opened Castells Museum in Valls.

- Meeting with the Coordinadora de Colles Castelleres de Catalunya (Coordinating organization for Castells groups).

- Visit to a wine cellar in the Penedès county.

The Catalan Government agency DIPLOCAT will cover the expenses following the programme, which is going to be send to you once we approve your registration.

The Catalan Government organizes such trips periodically for international journalists, to promote Catalan culture and tradition worldwide.
