SDS Cloud Manager allows HP Partners to activate the new managed print SaaS solution with full access to HP Smart Device Services, including a free version for up to 50 devices.
Copenhagen, 2018 – SDS Cloud Manager for HP Smart Device Services is now available to the HP Partners print ecosystem worldwide.
Throughout the past 20 years EET Europarts has been market leader in Europe for printer spare parts, and it is the world’s largest distributor of HP Inc. spare parts. In cooperation with MPS Monitor, EET Europarts will bring a new, self-consistent SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) solution to the market, allowing users to access all the functions of the HP SDS platform instantly and easily. It is specifically designed for HP Partners who wish to leverage all the financial and operating advantages offered by HP Smart Device Services (SDS).
The SDS Cloud Manager is the turnkey solution to provide HP SDS services directly to customers. Partners will have exclusive access to the SaaS features provided by HP through a dedicated Portal with cost-effective subscriptions that are extremely quick and easy to activate. Utilising SDS SaaS features is simple and straightforward, and does not require specific skills or training.
SDS Cloud Manager offers proactive device monitoring and remote diagnosis. This means problems are discovered long before the customer calls to report a hardware issue, thus reducing machine downtime and repeat interventions for the same problem. In addition, if an intervention requires parts replacement, SDS Cloud Manager identifies in real time the needed parts and their availability, thus reducing procurement times.
“Many of our customers manage large install bases of HP printers, and a reduction of service calls represents an opportunity to improve customer experience and create significant savings. In addition, the tools for finding spare parts and installation videos are a huge benefit”. Businessline Director Frederik Andersen from EET Europarts continues: “We are confident our customers will adopt the innovative technology developed by HP. Machine learning tools are a focus area within EET Europarts and the proactive maintenance engine in SDS Cloud Manager is one of a kind in today's market”. The SDS Cloud Manager Portal will be available across all EET countries in a wide range of languages.
HP Partners of any size can access SDS Cloud Manager by selecting one of the flexible subscriptions, including a free version that offers the complete range of SDS features for up to 50 HP printing devices.
“The cooperation between EET Europarts and MPS Monitor brings real innovation and tangible benefits to the printer market, by enabling proactive service and remote maintenance”, affirms Nicola De Blasi, CEO of MPS Monitor Srl. “The market position of EET Europarts as a supplier of HP spare parts allows us to reach thousands of resellers worldwide and improve their service experience on HP printing devices”. The platform already serves more than 2.500 customers, enabling significant savings whilst improving service levels.
“HP is excited to partner with EET Europarts and MPS Monitor to provide leading Smart Device Services technology to our joint reseller partners and their customers” says David Laing, Worldwide VP of Contractual Channel A3 Devices and Services Marketing, HP Inc. “SDS will improve device uptime and lower the cost to service HP devices”.
