Eco-friendly high-performance mounting adhesive from Essve

Essve now introduces Mounting Adhesive Eco Pro, a water-based and environmentally friendly mounting adhesive with higher initial load baring capacity than any equivalent product on the market.

Essve launches Mounting Adhesive Eco Pro, an easy to use, quick-drying adhesive and environmentally friendly adhesive that works with most materials, such as wood, chip, plaster, leca, gypsum, steel and cellular plastic. The product is perfect for mounting of base boards, paneling, casings and similar applications.

– A mounting adhesive needs to have very specific qualities to be reliable. Easy application and drying time is critical and the end-results depend on a number of factors. Mounting Adhesive Eco Pro has been developed to perform at the highest level possible. And as the product is also environmentally friendly, it is a given firsthand choice for the professional craftsman, says Lisa Jungerts, Product and Development Manager for Adhesives and Sealants at Essve.

Mounting Adhesive Eco Pro is mainly for indoor use but can be applied outdoors if the adhesive is allowed to dry before it is exposed to rain or low temperature. The product comes in both a white and a transparent version, and can be painted over. The product reaches full strength after two to seven days. When fully dried, it forms a filling and strong joint, able to withstand shocks, thrusts and vibration. With a direct load baring capacity of up to 180 kg/m² it is the most direct load baring, water-based mounting adhesive on the market.

About Essve’s Mounting Adhesive Eco Pro

Mounting Adhesive Eco Pro is an environmentally friendly mounting adhesive, completely free from solvents and similar substances. The adhesive can be used both inside and outside, but when applied outdoors it should be allowed to dry before exposed to rain or temperatures below +5°C. After hardening, the adhesive is waterproof and will be able to deliver in temperatures down to -10°C. Depending on application, temperature and type of application, the drying-time varies, with full strength achieved after 2-7 days.
