Finnish Lean Marketing & Design Agency Wörks Awarded the Prestigious Red Dot Award for Brands & Communication Design Work for Tibber

Wörks, one of the most celebrated agencies in Finland, has been awarded the prestigious Red Dot award for their work on the brand & communication design of Tibber.

The 24 person jury awarded Wörks with the title in brand & communications design - household products category. The work for Tibber was chosen as a winner amongst a group of 6992 qualified entries.

Before this award, Wörks has amongst other things, been chosen as the nro 1 agency in branding and strategy work in Finland for already two years in the row*, awarded with multiple Lions in the Cannes for their innovative work for the retailer Alepa, and recognised widely for their disruptive approaches to improve the work environment, such as the 4-day work week.

Tibber, launched in 2016, is disrupting the electricity market by making electricity consumption smarter. They are a digital energy company that offers 100% renewable energy with transparency and control to households. They are already helping customers Sweden, Norway & Germany to lower their electricity consumption, and are now expanding rapidly into new markets.

The collaboration between Wörks and Tibber started in 2019 with the objective to scale Tibber for the mainstream audience in the global market. To do that the brand identity needed re-tuning. “Tibber had already been successful in creating a vital brand for tech-savvy early adopters. The challenge ahead was to transform the brand in a way that would resonate with a broader audience, without losing its original twist or appeal. The starting point was to create a best possible customer experience for energy through design.”, says Elina Koivisto, the CMO of Tibber.

In order to maximize the brand potential, Tibber teamed up with Wörks - a marketing and design firm that has been chosen as the best agency in branding and strategy in Finland for two years in the row*. Wörks is known for its lean and co-operative methods in the design process. The revolutionary data-driven and systematic methods were now also used to enhance the impact of the Tibber brand re-engineering project across multiple target markets.
