Global automotive and industrial supplier Schaeffler has presented its interim statement for the first nine months of 2022. The Schaeffler Group’s revenue for the reporting period amounted to 11,790 million euros (prior year: 10,346 million euros). The 8.7 percent constant-currency growth in revenue compared to the prior year period was largely attributable to higher volumes.

Schaeffler is focusing on electric mobility. The company is demonstrating this by simultaneously launching several new electric axle drives (electric axles). “Electric axles are a key element of our electric mobility strategy,” says Matthias Zink, CEO Automotive Technologies at Schaeffler AG. Until now, up to three drive components were assembled in one compact unit.
Smart condition monitoring is giving Finnish companies an edge in highly competitive fields. Forestry giant Stora Enso and cement-maker Finnsementti have benefited from collaboration with German company Schaeffler – and the two Finnish companies agree that industry has only scratched the surface of what can be accomplished with new smart monitoring solutions.
