Tryg selects TCS to enhance customer experience by modernizing IT Infrastructure

·  Multi- year and multi million euro deal to improve  business agility and customer experience at Tryg’s operations in Denmark, Norway and Sweden

·  TCS to provide full range of Infrastructure services including FSA compliant private cloud hosted in the Nordic region

Copenhagen | Mumbai, January 30, 2014: Tata Consultancy Services (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS), the leading IT services, consulting and business solutions organization, announced that it has been selected by Tryg, the second largest general insurance company in the Nordic region, to deliver and operate a modernized IT infrastructure.

The scope of contract includes a full range of infrastructure services comprising service desk, end user services, server, storage, mainframe support and service integration.

TCS will deliver services to Tryg using its FSA compliant private cloud solution which can scale up or down in line with business demands. Tryg will benefit from this flexibility, allowing any unpredictable demands due to the nature of the insurance business to be met. Through this partnership, Tryg will achieve the business agility required to enable its strategic initiatives such as digitization and implementation of new channels. These initiatives are crucial for the company’s future growth by improving customer experience of its 2.7 million private customers and the 140,000 businesses it serves.
