FM Mattsson’s new MEDICARE collection is designed in collaboration with the healthcare sector to meet the market’s accessibility and hygiene requirements. The new collection includes basin mixers with an emphasis on hygiene, accessibility and sustainability.
SILJAN flexi is now being launched as part of FM Mattsson’s signature collection. These kitchen mixers have a detachable nozzle and a choice of jet settings. In the collection, you find a touchless mixer that keeps your hands clean and helps control the bacteria.
Water contaminated with bacteria such as Legionella and E. coli can cause severe problems and serious illnesses. For this reason, Allbohus Fastighets AB, a public housing company owned by Alvesta municipality, has opted to install FM Mattsson connected showers with the Watersprint water purification system in several schools, to prevent contamination and ensure good water quality.
Eksjöhus, a company in the Swedish province of Småland, has been designing, constructing and manufacturing timber houses for over 75 years. Although they conduct extensive in-house production, they also use many external suppliers. The Ronald McDonald House in Gothenburg is adjacent to the Queen Silvia Children’s Hospital, and provides accommodation for families of children undergoing specialist treatment at the hospital. Now the oldest rooms are being renovated and FM Mattsson 9000E mixers and showers will be installed in all the bathrooms.
SUSTAINABLE HOUSING. Housing solutions for the future are being tested in real time in the KTH Live-In Lab testbed platform. Four students live in Testbed KTH, which consists of apartments equipped with the latest technology. Among other things, the apartments are fitted with connected mixers from FM Mattsson, which track the students’ water use.
Ronald McDonald House in Lund provides accommodation for families with severely ill children. The House was built in 2003 and is right next to Lund University Hospital. Families can stay there in a homelike environment while attending specialist treatment at the hospital. Now the House is to be equipped with brand new bathrooms – and FM Mattsson mixers were the natural choice.
SUSTAINABLE TOURISM. Idre Fjäll is a popular summer and winter resort. With the aim of creating sustainable facilities, Idre Fjäll has installed FM Mattsson’s connected mixers in its public facilities. This has resulted in energy savings, easier service and enhanced guest experience.
The Swedish Sea Rescue Society (Sjöräddningssällskapet) is a voluntary, non-profit organisation that saves lives at sea and is involved in almost all sea rescue in Sweden. The organisation is funded entirely by donations, memberships and voluntary contributions, and FM Mattsson Mora Group is now donating products for the Society’s new rescue station in Fjällbacka.
Marcel van ‘t Ent has been appointed Managing Director of FM Mattsson Mora Group’s subsidiary in Holland and Belgium, incl. the well-known sanitary brands Damixa, FM Mattsson and Mora Armatur.
Taps and mixers producer Damixa has received a total of three prestigious international Red Dot Awards for product design 2016. All three products have been commended for "High Design Quality". Fredrik Skarp has been appointed new President and CEO of FM Mattsson Mora Group AB. He will assume his position no later than June 2016. He has both a broad international experience from several senior positions within the SSAB and a strong local presence in Dalarna, where he in recent years has been the CEO of Mora of Sweden. He most recently comes from the position as CEO of Scanmast.
The Board of FM Mattsson Mora Group has decided to appoint Peter Wennerstein as acting CEO of the company until a new CEO is recruited. Peter Wennerstein is today Marketing Director and assumes the position as acting CEO of FM Mattsson Mora Group with immediate effect.
Claes Seldeby has informed the Board of Directors of FM Mattsson Mora Group that he resigns from his position as CEO. Claes has six months notice. The company will now begin searching for his replacement as CEO of FM Mattsson Mora Group.
FM Mattsson Mora Group has signed a sponsorship of the Finnish national icehockey teams. The sponsorship runs for 3 years and includes World Championship and Winter Olympics. The new collaboration is aimed at increasing the knowledge of the 150 year old Swedish and Danish marketleader in Finland.
At today’s Board meeting, the Board of FM Mattsson Mora Group AB (publ) resolved on the establishment of an audit committee and to propose new principles for the nomination committee. In addition, Anna Maria Rylander resigned from the Board.
The Board of FM Mattsson Mora Group AB (publ) announced on November 3, 2015, its intention to apply for a listing of the Company's B shares on Nasdaq Stockholm. The Company has today been informed that all conditions to obtain an approval from Nasdaq Stockholm are currently not fulfilled in terms of the Board’s composition and routines. The planned listing in 2015 is thereby re-scheduled.
