Digitalisering av avfallshåndteringen
Nå kommer det til å bli enklere for transportselskaper som håndterer avfall å planlegge sine transportoppdrag. Hogia lanserer et nytt skyprodukt, Hogia Moveit Recyleit, som skal hjelpe transportselskaper med å effektivisere transportplanleggingen. Med mer effektiv planlegging av kjøreruten kan man redusere drivstofforbruket, hvilket er positivt både for miljøet og økonomien.
Another Record Year
For the third year in a row, Swedish IT company Hogia has had a record year: Sales increased from SEK 565 million to SEK 605 million. For the 10th consecutive year employees numbers increased by 25 people bringing the company total to 675. Net profit rose from 34 to SEK 36 million, which is a profit margin of 6%, says Bert-Inge Hogsved, Hogia's founder and CEO.
Hogia wins business in Tunisia
Hogia Ferry Systems has signed an agreement with the Tunisian ferry operator Compagnie Tunisienne de Navigation (CTN) to deliver the reservation and ticketing system BOOKIT. CTN operates a cruise-like passenger and vehicle ferry service from Tunis to Genoa, Italy and from Tunis to Marseille, France and has intentions to expand their business further.
Port of Heysham’s timely digitalisation of RoRo port terminal
The RoRo terminal at the Port of Heysham is the hub for a large part of the freight that travels between north-west England, the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, and the Isle of Man. Port of Heysham awarded to Hogia the contract to supply a terminal operating system to digitalise the management of freight transport through the terminal thereby increasing the terminal’s efficiency.
Eckerö Linjen signs with Hogia and Visit Group
Eckerö Linjen, operator of ferry services between Sweden and Åland, has signed two new contracts for booking systems. To offer a more flexible and modern booking solution for its travellers, an agreement has been signed with Hogia Ferry Systems for bus and ferry bookings, and with Visit Group for Åland accommodation and tourism services.
Hogia and Seastreak in breakthrough deal
Hogia Ferry Systems is implementing its market-leading BOOKIT reservation, ticketing and check-in solution under a contract with new client Seastreak, the US fast ferry operator. This breakthrough agreement further strengthens Hogia´s strong foothold in North America and also enables Seastreak to launch a state-of-the-art e-commerce platform.
Hogia signs with the Argentinian operator Colonia Express
Hogia Ferry Systems have signed an agreement with Argentinian ferry operator Colonia Express, to deliver the reservation and ticketing system, BOOKIT. This is Hogia’s first client in the South American market, meaning that BOOKIT is now being used by ferry operators on every continent, with the exception of Antarctica.
Hogia in the glimmer of the eastern Emerald
Hogia Ferry Systems have signed an agreement with Indonesian Ro-Ro operator JZK. JZK is a start-up operation, connecting Jakarta and Surabaya. Cargo transported between the two cities is today transported by trucks. The 800 km journey takes three driving days. JZK, with their two vessels can cover the same distance sailing along the coastline in around one day.

In collaboration with Hogia, Movia has introduced a whole new way of managing real-time information to and from its buses. The result is a new basis for the division of responsibility for the technology in buses between the public transport authority and bus operators, which altogether gives greater freedom and lower costs.

IT-supplier Hogia continues its pattern of steady growth and is now investing in a new business area, Hogia Transport Systems. Transport Systems will oversee all Hogia’s activities within the transport industry. This new business area has a predicted growth of 35 percent by 2020.
Driving secure transport communications
Swedish IT company Hogia can now help bus companies to improve the efficiency of communication between traffic management and bus drivers. Based on TETRA technology, Hogia can link up traffic management systems to national radio communication systems. This provides buses with a stable, user-friendly radio system. Transport companies in Sweden are now using this solution, with positive results.
