Kommuninvest is planning for green issue

Kommuninvest intends to issue a new green transaction, its tenth to date and the seventh in SEK. The issue consists of a tap of the Green Bond G2306 which matures on 2023-06-01 (KOMINS 0,625% June-2023 XS1897258098). This bond currently has an outstanding volume of SEK 6 billion. Danske Bank, Nordea and Swedbank have been appointed lead managers for the transaction. The transaction is expected to be launched in the week commencing 18th May, subject to market conditions.

Within Kommuninvest's Green Bonds Framework, local and regional investment projects are financed in eight categories: ranging from renewable energy and green buildings to climate change adaptation and clean transportation. To date, Kommuninvest has granted over SEK 65 billion in Green loans for 360 investment projects in more than 150 municipalities and regions.

The Green loans are financed through the issuance of Green Bonds. At present, Kommuninvest has a total of around SEK 32.5 billion outstanding in five Green Bonds, three of which are in SEK and two in USD.
