Titus Coin establishes the Titus Investment Fund

Titus Coin has always stated that its aim is to have a cryptocurrency running on blockchain technology for general spend that it would be backed by assets.

As part of the process the VIP Coin Sparkassa has established Titus Investment Fund (TIF) to hold the assets that back the coin. The VIP Coin Sparkassa will be responsible for managing the liquidity in the coin, settling with merchants and overseeing the growth of the fund.

Titus Investment Fund has been established in the BVI and is under the administration of GMG Fund Administrators who will provide independent valuations and custody of the fund assets. The Fund has appointed Titus Investment Advisors to act as the investment manager who will report to the VIP Coin Sparkassa.

Titus Investment Fund will invest money in a wide range of different assets looking to achieve a strong stable growth over the medium to long term. It will invest in liquid as well as less liquid investments so that it can look for capital growth but also maintain the ability to return funds to the Sparkassa should it be required. Also the Sparkassa will deposit funds into the fund from time to time from the revenue earned from transactions.

Maxim Moneta, Titus Invest CEO, says “It has always been the goal to be transparent about what we are doing with the funds raised from the Initial Coin Offering and so this is another step in delivering on the structure we set out in the White Paper. The assets will be administered by a third party who will provide up to date valuations which will be published online. Coin holders will be able to see that value of the assets that back the coin and give merchants and coin holders alike a sense of security that there are funds and assets available to settle transactions. This will also give a base from which the value of the coin will be derived on the Titus Coin Exchange called Payens”
