Silje Garberg Ree steps down as CEO of Bergans

After just over two years as CEO of Bergans, Silje Garberg Ree has decided to pursue new opportunities outside the company. Since joining Bergans in May 2024, she has led a comprehensive transformation that has strengthened the company’s market position and competitiveness and laid the foundation for further growth. Garberg Ree will step down from her position by the end of 2026.

Over the past few years, Bergans has undergone a significant transformation. By sharpening its product portfolio, establishing a clearer brand platform, and improving its operating and cost structure, the company has built a stronger foundation for the future. These initiatives have already contributed to improved financial performance and greater commercial momentum in priority markets. Bergans is now entering a new phase, with an increased focus on profitable growth, further strengthening the brand, and expanding its presence in selected international markets.

The Board of Directors has initiated the process of recruiting a new CEO.
