CIC Hospitality enters Germany with takeover of 212-Room Flightgate Munich Airport Hotel, a member of Radisson Individuals
Oslo / Munich, 19 May 2026// CIC Hospitality has taken over as the new operator of the 212-room Flightgate Munich Airport Hotel in Hallbergmoos, Germany. The hotel, owned by Munich-based real estate developer Rock Capital Group, continues to operate under the Radisson Individuals brand. It is CIC Hospitality’s first hotel in operation in Germany.
The Flightgate property is located in Rock Capital’s mixed-use development adjacent to Munich Airport, the airport that recorded 43.4 million passengers in 2025, the highest absolute growth of any airport in the German-speaking region, and was named Airport of the Year 2026 by Air Transport World. The hotel is operated under a long-term lease agreement.
CIC’s initial focus will be on service improvements and upgrades to the hotel’s common areas. The company will introduce its centralised, technology-driven operating model, which has delivered structurally lower break-even levels across its Nordic portfolio of approximately 30 hotels.

Flightgate Munich Airport Hotel is a member of Radisson Individuals. The brand has grown to over 120 hotels in operation and under development worldwide since its launch in 2020. Germany remains a strategic focus market for Radisson Hotel Group, which currently has 90 hotels in operation and under development across the DACH region, with a target of exceeding 100 hotels by 2030.

CIC Hospitality currently operates 30 hotels across Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. Flightgate Munich Airport Hotel marks CIC’s entry into a fourth country. A second German property, Mercure Living Heide in Schleswig-Holstein, is scheduled to open later this year.
