Orkla Foods has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares in the Danish bakery company TC Brød ApS. The acquisition strengthens Orkla Foods’ bakery platform in Denmark and is carried out by Orkla Denmark, part of Orkla Foods.

Orkla Foods has appointed Gilles Morel as Chair of the Board, effective 1 June. Morel succeeds Xavier Belison, who stepped down from the role at the end of March.

Orkla Foods Europe’s Board of Directors has appointed Aku Vikström (52) as new CEO. He succeeds Atle Vidar Nagel Johansen, who temporarily has held the position since October 2023. Mr Vikström is currently CEO of NoHo Partners, listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
