STG Expands Public Sector Software Portfolio with Sikri and Formpipe Public Sector Business

STG, a leading private equity firm focused on investing in software, data, and analytics companies, has recently acquired Sikri, a Norwegian provider of mission-critical public administration software, and announced the acquisition of Formpipe’s Public Sector business. These acquisitions will bring under common ownership two highly complementary businesses with a shared mission to enhance the efficiency, transparency, and digital capabilities of the public sector across Norway, Sweden, and Denmark.

“STG’s ownership of both Sikri and Formpipe’s Public Sector business creates a strong foundation for delivering innovative solutions that help municipalities, government agencies, and other public organisations operate more efficiently and transparently,” said Ed Didier, Managing Director at STG. “Both companies are well-respected in their markets, and together they provide a unique platform for driving digitalisation in the public sector across Scandinavia.”

STG’s shared ownership of Sikri and Formpipe’s Public Sector business opens the door to future collaboration and knowledge sharing to the benefit of customers and employees.

“This is a positive step for both organisations and our customers,” said Hege Moe Tveit, CEO of Sikri. “With STG’s backing, Sikri has the resources and focus to continue delivering value to our customers, and we look forward to exploring future opportunities alongside Formpipe’s Public Sector business.”

“We see great potential in being part of the STG family,” said Thomas à Porta, Head of Formpipe’s Public Sector business. “Our shared commitment to modernising public sector services and deliver solutions that provide efficient compliance will guide us as we continue to serve our customers in Sweden, Denmark, and beyond.”
