Norwegian tech company Tau Tech raises 30M EUR (300 MNOK) for cutting-edge sustainable seabed-harvesting technology

Dredging the seabed for bottom-dwelling species is controversial internationally, and banned in Norway. Through a five-year research project, Norwegian company Tau Tech has developed a technology enabling sustainable seafood harvesting from the seabed. The company has raised 30M EUR to start harvesting Arctic scallops on a commercial scale, using the new technology.
