Axel Johnson International in several aquisitions

Axel Johnson International continue to strenghten their position as a market leading industrial group and has carried out five acquisitions in the past three months.

Nomo, part of Axel Johnson International, strengthened its position on the Nordic market for bearings, transmissions and seals by acquiring Rotera Kullager in Täby AB and Rotera Kullager in Västberga AB on February 2. The Rotera Kullager companies have annual sales of SEK 27 million.

AxFlow Italy, part of the Fluid Handling Solutions business group of Axel Johnson International, acquired Cinti S.r.l., a specialist in installation, service and repair of centrifugal pumps based in northern Italy, on February 27. The move aims to strengthen AxFlow Italy’s service offering and position it for further growth. With 21 employees, Cinti serves customers mainly in the municipal water, irrigation, agriculture, water treatment, and fire protection.

Axel Johnson International’s Transport Solutions business group is strengthening its position in the Norwegian market for commercial vehicle components by acquiring Egil Verne AS, effective March 1. With approximately NOK 100 million in sales and 15 employees, Verne is a leading distributor of vehicle components in Norway, focusing on lighting and electrical vehicle components.

Forankra France, part of Axel Johnson International Transport Solutions business group, has acquired the Dock Equipment product range from Pommier SA 1 April through an asset acquisition. The products are mainly aimed for logistics hubs, warehouses, trucks and trailers and include the patented Butdock® product.

Axel Johnson International’s Industrial Solutions business group is increasing its market presence in the Netherlands through the acquisition of MAK Aandrijvingen B.V., effective May 2. MAK, located in Lelystad, provides power transmission solutions including chains, belts, motors and reducers to OEM customers.
