BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles: Front Row has come to an end and the best team in the world, Team Liquid, was also the best at BLAST. This is Team Liquid’s first ever BLAST trophy and they did it in front of an excited American crowd in the city of Los Angeles.

Keith "NAF" Markovic is the best-rated player of the tournament and the MVP of BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles.

Team Liquid breezed over Cloud9 on the first map of the semifinal. In the second map Cloud9 made it interesting but Team Liquid kept their cool and booked their spot at the Grand Final, 2-0.

The other Grand Finalists, BLAST Pro Series Miami 19 champions FaZe Clan, played a confident semifinal against NRG, winning 2-0.

First map of Grand Final was Nuke where Team Liquid quickly built up a big lead. Just as it looked like they were going to get an easy start to the final, FaZe Clan slowly started catching up. FaZe Clan were two rounds from securing overtime when Team Liquid shut them down and took the first map.

FaZe Clan came close to taking Team Liquid to overtime on Nuke but to no avail.

Team Liquid closed the Grand Final quickly after on Inferno, where FaZe Clan never had a chance to breath. The home soil champions won the map 16-6 and the entire tournament.

Jacky "Stewie2k" Yip, Team Liquid:

- We came to win. And we did it on home soil, because we wanted to make our fans proud. We love them.

Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken, Team Liquid:

- We didn’t drop a single map. Now we are gonna go to Chicago and do the same thing.

Team Liquid takes home the BLAST trophy and $125,000 out of the $250,000 prize pool.

If you missed some of the matches, here’s a much deeper summary of how all the games played in the two semifinals and the Grand Final.

MIBR wins the BLAST Stand-Off

The two teams that didn’t make it to the semifinals, MIBR and Renegades, played in the iconic BLAST Stand-Off. After a series of entertaining 1 versus 1 battles, MIBR had the most points making them the winners of an additional $20,000 at BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles.

MIBR won't be going home completely empty-handed.

Crown the Empire

The local and well-established progressive rock band Crown the Empire came by the venue to deliver an intimate concert for the Front Row audience. Crown the Empire has an extensive local following and the five-man band are releasing their new album “Sudden Sky” on July 19.

Crown the Empire topped off the chill atmosphere of Front Row.

The Road to the Global Final

The points won at a BLAST Pro Series tournament counts towards a Season Leaderboard where the best teams will go to a Global Final at the end of the year. The Global Final will crown the 2019 BLAST Pro Series Season Champion, who on top of the trophy will win 350.000 US dollars of the 500.000 US dollars in the total prize pool for the 4 top teams.
