We are not planning a hospital ship - on board we "do magic"!

Hello world!

I am the emperor penguin Bowie, the mascot of Bowspirit Kids, on the beautiful Ekström Ice Shelf in the north of Antarctica near Neumayer-Station III.

You've often asked me if we're planning a hospital ship. No - that's not Michael's vision. We will have medically, psychologically and pedagogically trained personnel on board.

But whoever wants to come to us on board must have completed the in-patient therapy or at least a therapy phase. At that moment you may no longer be in hospital or, if you are a trauma kid, no longer in acute treatment, but you have not yet recovered.

Then you humans quickly open the box with the sign "psychotherapy". But to be honest, I have a problem with the term "therapy" here. Our potential guests have had various therapies and treatments before they come on board. And I would feel really lousy, if parents, doctors or probably the kids themselves say or think, there is this therapy ship - now I have to go there 😮.

First and foremost, we want to have a lot of fun together and make up for lost childhood or give it back to the children.

But with one you can be sure: We will have the best staff on board that you can imagine. And we will prepare them therapeutically for their very special missions. And if a child signals in any way that it has something on its heart, then everyone from the sailor to the female captain and especially the kindergarten teachers will be able to hear this wish between the lines. And then we will "do magic". 😉

Have a great time - see you soon!

Yours Bowie 🐧
