Elfa opens Studio in the heart of Malmö – largest strategic investment ever for the business
Elfa is currently making its largest-ever strategic investment. The storage Group will be showcasing its entire range for the very first time in its own physical settings. Studio Elfa is a gathering point for anyone who’s looking for inspiration and help with storage needs.
The first studio will open on October 1 in the Hansa City shopping centre in the heart of Malmö.
Consumers in Sweden have been able to plan their storage solutions using the Elfa Planning Service Online since 2019. The Studio Elfa concept now builds on the huge interest shown in this digital service.
For the first time ever, the company’s full range and carefully selected wardrobe accessories from The Container Store will now be displayed in a physical setting. Visitors will also find facts and inspiration and receive individual help and advice from the hosts and planning experts in the studio.
“This is a response to the express wishes of our retailers to be able to show our entire range of products to their customers. This is a strategically important investment that supports our commitment to make our products and systems more accessible and all showcased in an inspiring environment. If it proves to be a success, we may expand the concept to other locations,” says Anders Rothstein, CEO and President of Elfa. He then adds,
“Storage solutions are often a major investment, and it is not always easy to know what you are looking for or where to begin. The studio offers consumers a chance to see the products in real life, discuss requirements and get a bespoke solution with a list of where to purchase the products.”
The first studio will open on October 1, 2021, in the Hansa City shopping centre in Malmö.
