Danish Design Mixer in Beautiful New Colours: Matt Black, Steel and Brass

Damixa has just launched three new finishes for its newest line of design mixers: Minimalistic matt black. Discreet steel. Classic and modern brass. This makes it now possible for installors, wholesalers and distributors to offer customers even more options for adding a more personal touch to their homes with an elegant design mixer.

Silhouet is a slender and welcoming line of mixers designed by Danish award-winning design duo, Halskov & Dalsgaard Design. The product line comprises kitchen and basin mixers as well as shower systems with a thermostat, hand shower and an elegant head shower. Silhouet was introduced earlier this year with a classic chrome finish, but its range has now been extended even further with new finishes in matt black, steel and brass.

Focus on quality and durability

“Many end-customers would like to have the opportunity to choose among several colours when they install a stylish design mixer in their home. Silhouet now gives them this option with new finishes in matt black, steel and brass,” says Soeren Braae, Product Manager for Damixa at FM Mattsson Mora Group.

He adds that the development of the new finishes has required extensive work:

“Damixa is famous for its Danish design, water-saving functions and products of unrivalled quality. The three new finishes have therefore not only been developed to look stylish, but also have a keen focus on user-friendliness, quality and sustainability,” explains Soeren Braae.

Scratch-Proof

Damixa has taken advantage of its exceptional PVD coating technique for the development of two of the new finishes, in steel and brass. The technique produces a very robust metal coating that is anti-soiling, scratch-proof and non-fade. The matt black finish is also exceptionally resistant to dirt and fingerprints and will keep its colour for many years to come.

The entire Silhouet line offers several smart and unique Damixa features that both raise the level of comfort and economise on water and power: Cold Start, Scalding Protection and Rub Clean. The kitchen and basis mixers are further both equipped with energy-saving air mixers with a capacity of 8 and 6 litres per minute, respectively.

Silhouet in matt black, steel (PVD) and brass (PVD) is already available to order.

About the Award-Winning Designers:

The faces behind Halskov & Dalsgaard Design are Christina Halskov and Hanne Dalsgaard, who have designed a large number of products for, among others, Stelton, Holmegaard, IKEA and Sticks'n'Sushi since 1990. The duo has – just like Damixa – won many awards for product design.

The goal with Silhouet has been to create a series of mixers of a design and quality that will last for many years, says Christina Halskov:

“The water tap is both a functional utility item and a design element in the modern home. Silhouet is our offer for a modern, simple and inviting series of mixers, which are a delight to use in the daily round.”
