HiQ commences strategic partnership with Brink Commerce

HiQ and Brink Commerce are entering into an agreement for a strategic partnership regarding digital commerce, with the common goal of becoming the leading alternative in Europe for global players and fast-growing companies in retail, D2C and B2B. The partnership is in line with HiQ’s vision of becoming the leading tech consulting company in northern Europe and further enhances the company’s position as a one-stop-shop in digitization.

“We are delighted to enter into this partnership with Brink Commerce. Digitization is an integral part of what we do at HiQ, and our vision is to simplify people’s lives with the help of tech. Working together with a platform that solves highly relevant problems in the industry while also making life easier for businesses and consumers alike is a great match for us. We look forward to a great partnership”, says Fredrik Malm, acting CEO of HiQ.

HiQ and Brink Commerce are entering into an agreement for a strategic partnership regarding digital commerce, with the common goal of becoming the leading alternative in Europe for global players and fast-growing companies in retail, D2C and B2B. The partnership is born out of a common view on how modern digital commerce should be built and managed. HiQ’s wide-ranging expertise in digitization and long experience working with customers in many different sectors, together with Brink Commerce’s ground-breaking technology, creates an attractive offer. Brink Commerce API represents the technical platform for the partnership. It has been strategically developed to manage large volumes while also providing customers with the possibility of quick and simple integration of all components required for effective modern digital commerce. The partnership is in line with HiQ’s vision of becoming the leading tech consulting company in northern Europe and further enhances the company’s position as a one-stop-shop in digitization.

“A key player in digital commerce such as HiQ is a perfect partner for us. We have always seen the world as our market and, thanks to their expertise and strength, we get an even greater opportunity to quickly scale up and deliver more value to our customers. The fact that an industry-leading company like HiQ chooses Brink Commerce as a partner is very inspiring and further proof that our way of building modern solutions for digital commerce is what the market wants. We felt a good connection right from the start, and we complement each other as companies very well. I am very impressed by the extensive knowledge that HiQ has, and we are very much looking forward to seeing what we can accomplish together,” says Kristian Tysander, co-founder and CEO of Brink Commerce.

The commencement of the new partnership involves several joint customer projects, with HiQ providing expertise in the delivery of e-commerce projects from start to finish from a business and technical support perspective and Brink Commerce providing an optimized technical platform.

About Brink Commerce:
Brink Commerce was founded in 2018 by Kristian Tysander, Marcus Ljungberg and Patrik Antonsson, all of whom have extensive digital business experience from companies such as Daniel Wellington, H&M and Klarna. Brink Commerce API has been developed to meet the challenges faced by many fast-growing D2C companies and global players. With customers worldwide, the product has already proven its strength and flexibility and has become the new standard for how digital commerce systems should be built.

The company is currently in a strong growth phase and therefore raised capital in 2021 from investors such as Jarno Vanhatapio (Nelly, NA-KD), Alexander Hars (Let’s deal, Desenio), Albin Johansson (Axel Arigato) and Filip Tysander (Daniel Wellington), as well as the reputable investment firms Wellstreet and Innovation Nest. The company’s commercial, operational management team includes high-profile individuals from e-commerce and FinTech, such as Christian Zanders, founder and former CEO of Jetshop, and Mattias Ekman, who previously held the role of Head of Merchant Development and Acquisition at Klarna.
