Press release -

Kommuninvest issues USD 1 billion in new bond

In the fourth issue this year under the USD Benchmark Programme, Kommuninvest today raised USD 1 billion in a new 4-year bond.

Investor interest for the bond, which matures on 2025-09-15, was strong. The order book amounted to more than USD 2.1 billion and included over 50 investors. The bond was priced at 1 basis point below mid-swaps and 29.8 basis points above corresponding US Treasuries.

The conditions, in terms of pricing in the USD market, continue to be competitive.

– Today’s transaction was a positive return to the USD market after the summer break. Once again, we were met by solid demand. The order book was large and well diversified. In our work to secure cost-efficient financing of investments in the Swedish welfare system, the USD Benchmark Programme plays an important role, says Tobias Landström, Deputy Head of Debt Management at Kommuninvest.
