Nautisk extends reach into the leisure market with NaviPlotter

Nautisk has developed its’ first product aimed at sailing, boating and fishing customers. NaviPlotter allows users to explore, plan and navigate routes in real-time using hi resolution digital vector charts and navigation tools.

Available as a free download with in-app purchases, NaviPlotter includes a multitude of essential route planning and navigation information and works on iPhone and iPad.

Users choosing the to use In-App purchases to enhance NaviPlotter benefit from high resolution vector charts derived from digital charts from Hydrographic Offices, live AIS and Augmented Reality views (AR). Each chart purchase provides free updates for a 12 month period.

NaviPlotter’s unique AR view mode allows the user to view buoys, lights, AIS targets (ships) and routes to next waypoint overlaid on the iPhone or iPad live camera view. Using the AR LockOn feature users can select a target on the chart and be guided to it using the AR camera view. In addition, NaviPlotter’s world-leading AR FLIR ONE camera support offers night and fog-vision views.
