Soon time to apply for Eklund Foundation research grants

It is time for researchers within dentistry to prepare their applications for funding from the Eklund Foundation in 2019.

The Board of Eklund Foundation has allocated approx. EUR 150,000 in research support for projects within odontology to be distributed this year. The application period starts on 1 April and the last day of submission is 31 May. The application form can be previewed on the Eklund Foundation website, eklundfoundation.org.

Both experimental and clinical studies within all fields of dentistry are welcome, but projects that can be related to periodontology, implantology, or cariology will be prioritised. The projects selected for funding will be announced in the autumn of 2019.

Projects supported in previous years include studies in periodontology and implantology carried out in different parts of the world – Italy, the Netherlands, USA and Sweden. More information on previous grant recipients can also be found at the website.

The Eklund Foundation was created through a donation from the Eklund family, owners of TePe Oral Hygiene Products, in celebration of their long-standing relationship with the professional dental community. The foundation will now distribute grants for the fourth year running.
