Kaisa Soininen joins Yoogaia as Chief Product Officer to grow international market reach

Kaisa Soininen, formerly of Rovio, has joined Finnish online yoga provider Yoogaia to help grow their international reach following studio openings in London and Hong Kong in late 2014.

Soininen is well matched to the new role at Yoogaia, bringing a wealth of experience in successfully growing international business, at both Rovio and Sulake. Her most recent role at Rovio was User Acquisition and Engagement Director. Previous to this she implemented and helped to grow the product manangement team, and focused on performance marketing of games. Soininen joined Rovio from Sulake, where she focused on boosting global business growth for a total of eight years.

Yoogaia.com is a Finnish company that has been offering interactive yoga from its Helsinki studio since its launch in 2013, with additional studios in London and Hong Kong since 2014. It has attracted significant crowd funding investment for international expansion due to the huge amounts of registered users on the site and via its social media channels.

As well as live, real time classes, it has a huge selection of pre-recorded classes covering a whole range of Yoga, Pilates and Kettle Bell workouts, meaning users can now train whenever and wherever via their tablet/laptop/mobile phone.
