Children's leather shoes dating from the 14th century and a well-preserved clasp knife from the 17th century. These are some of the many finds that have been made by the archaeologists working on the material that has been dredged up during the work on the Slussen area – this work is taking place at Ragn-Sells’ Högbytorp recycling plant, where the material is taken and processed.
Ragn-Sells has an important role in the shift towards a circular economy. Customers’ requirements relating to the quality of recycled materials are getting tougher, while collection customers want to their waste to be traceable, as well as new applications being found for it.
EasyMining, a subsidiary of the Swedish environmental company Ragn-Sells, has signed a letter of intent with the German utilities company Gelsenwasser AG. Under the agreement, a pilot study will be carried out with the objective to create a facility for phosphorus recovery from incinerated sewage sludge in Germany, based on EasyMining’s patented Ash2Phos technology.
