  • Ragn-Sells join “1.5°C Supply Chain Leaders”

    The environmental company Ragn-Sells, together with Nestlé and Telefónica, has announced that they have joined the 1.5°C Supply Chain Leaders’ group. That means that Ragn-Sells now, in company of other global corporations like Ericsson, IKEA, Telia, BT Group and Unilever, are committed to reducing their greenhouse gas emissions across their value chain, in line with the 1.5°C ambition.

    Ragn-Sells innovation company EasyMining has developed solutions for detoxifying and recirculating both phosphorus and nitrogen with a low carbon footprint. The challenge is that these recycled products cannot be used with current EU-legislation.     The environmental company Ragn-Sells has entered a collaboration with Maria Wetterstrand, CEO of the consulting company Miltton Europe in Brussels and former spokesperson of Miljöpartiet (the Green Party in Sweden).     Electric conveyor belt – instead of traditional transport by truck. Through the collaboration between E.ON's new energy recycling plant and Ragn-Sells’ treatment plant at Högbytorp, outside of Stockholm, bottom ash can be transported without climate impact.

  • Ragn-Sells partners with Hitachi Zosen Inova for building circular fly ash plant

    ​Environmental company Ragn-Sells has partnered with Swiss cleantech company Hitachi Zosen Inova for the construction of a new plant, designed to extract resources from fly ash from waste incineration. Within two years, the facility near Stockholm will be able to process fly ash corresponding to half of the yearly production in Sweden.

This Tuesday, the first sod was dug for the new plant. The new business supports Sweden’s official ambition to become the world’s first fossil free welfare nation, according to Minister for Enterprise Ibrahim Baylan.
