Leading MRI supplier invests in the first step of integrating SyMRI™ into the MRI supplier’s systems

SyntheticMR AB (“SyntheticMR”), a subsidiary of Accelerator Nordic AB, has previously signed an evaluation agreement with a leading MRI system supplier regarding evaluation of SyntheticMR’s software, SyMRI, at selected clinics. After positive results from the first part of the evaluation, the MRI supplier now invests in initiating the process of integrating SyMRI in the MRI supplier’s systems.

As SyntheticMR has communicated earlier, the company is currently in discussions with leading MRI system suppliers regarding joint commercialization of SyMRI, SyntheticMR’s MRI software for improved efficiency and better decision support. In 2012 one of these leading MRI suppliers signed an evaluation agreement with SyntheticMR in order to further assess the software’s capabilities at selected customer sites. With the evaluation, the MRI supplier wants to assess the opportunity to sell SyMRI as an add-on option together with the MRI supplier’s systems. After positive results from the first part of the evaluation, the MRI supplier now invests in the first step of creating an integrated product. In connection with this the evaluation agreement has been extended.

SyntheticMR has developed SyMRI, an MRI software that provides improved efficiency and better decision support through shortening the scan time per patient and at the same time producing quantitative data. The software includes tools to automatically estimate a measure for brain atrophy and retrieve the volume of local brain structures and lesions, thus improving diagnostic capabilities.

SyMRI provides improved efficiency and better decision support for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The new versions, SyMRI IMAGE 7.0 and SyMRI NEURO 7.0 are CE-marked for clinical use in Europe.

  • Accelerator investerar i nyemission i dotterbolaget SyntheticMR före avknoppning och notering

    Inför den planerade avknoppningen av SyntheticMR AB avser Accelerator, som tidigare meddelats, att kapitalisera dotterbolaget. Detta görs för att finansiera satsningen på att etablera partnersamarbeten för en internationell marknadslansering av SyntheticMRs programvara. Kapitaliseringen av SyntheticMR kommer att ske genom investering i en nyemission i SyntheticMR.
