Accumulate mobile payment now including QR-code reader

Accumulate introduces a built-in QR-code reader first available for Android handsets. With this feature QR-codes are caught and scanned in seconds and this without having to open a separate app. Example of use is quick purchase of products advertised in different media and scanning of vending machine id's when purchasing products on the go.

Use case example "quick shop"

  • Open the mobile wallet app and press "purchase with QR"
  • point the phone to the code
  • you are directed to checkout/payment and and can finalise the purchase in seconds and direct in the phone.

For proximity mobile payment (at POS, person-to-person, vending machines) Accumulate is independant of technology used doing the payment transaction. The Accumulate solution already supports Accumulate OTT (One Time Ticket), NFC (active and passive), QR-codes, barcodes, bluetooth, etc.
