Mazars SET new challenger in audit market
SET has informally cooperated with Mazars since the 1990s and the two companies subsequently entered into a joint venture in 2004.
“Our aim is to grow and the merger is a step in this development. We will become an integral part of a large international organisation, with operations in 61 countries and 13,000 employees. The fact that we will now belong to one of the major audit and advisory firms in the market will give us the capacity to undertake major assignments. This is good for the sector as a whole and will have positive effects for our customers and employees,” says Lars-Åke Andréasson, Managing Director of Mazars SET.
“For a global player like Mazars, Sweden is a key market. Mazars has a diverse portfolio of clients, offering services to listed companies, “Owner-managed Companies”, NGOs and high net worth individuals. SET will continue to focus on family and owner-managed companies as well as listed companies.
