Apica partners with Riverbed to offer Web Content Optimization solution
- Apica WebPerformance™ extends functionality to help users improve their response times from web- and mobile applications
Stockholm, Sweden. March 6, 2013— Apica, a leading provider of performance testing and monitoring for cloud and mobile applications, announced today its authorized reseller agreement with Riverbed Technology. Under the agreement, Riverbed® will work through Apicas’ distribution channel and resell its Riverbed® Stingray™ Aptimizer software to end-users. In addition to this Apica’s WebPerformance portal now offers integration with the Stingray Aptimizer software. With this new integration Apica WebPerformance allows users to test their web- and mobile application performance with or without web content optimization. The Apica WebPerformance cloud service monitors the delivery of all web content and application functionalities from more than 100 locations worldwide, now including the ability to test the potential for reducing web response times and infrastructure cost using dynamically accelerated web content from various locations. No installation or application code changes are required since all the new functionality is offered through the Apica WebPerformance cloud service.
